Dr. Gulnara Aghayeva

Dr Gulnara Aghayeva is a hepatologist based in Baku, Azerbaijan, where she heads the Liver Diseases Center at Referance Medical Group and is Associate Professor of Internal Diseases at the Baku branch of Sechenov Medical Academy.

She is President of the Azerbaijan Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists Association, a member of the Executive Council of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL), and a member of the Global NASH Council.

Her research focuses on viral hepatitis, particularly hepatitis C and D, and metabolic liver disease.
