The JGHF–APDWF Young Clinician Investigator Program (YCIP) is an invitational educational program for shortlisted abstract authors who have been awarded APDWF–JGHF Travel Grants.
Designed to cultivate the next generation of clinician-scientists, the program equips participants with practical research skills through interactive lectures, workshops, and small-group discussions.
End the day by connecting with fellow trainees, early-career gastroenterologists, and faculty in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Young GI Night brings together delegates from across the Asia-Pacific for an evening of networking, cultural exchange, and fun activities designed to foster friendships and future collaborations.
The Young GI Networking Lounge is a dedicated space where trainees and early-career gastroenterologists can connect with peers, interact with international experts, and participate in informal educational activities throughout the congress.
Open daily during the main congress
Join internationally recognized leaders in gastroenterology for informal 30-minute conversations that go beyond traditional lectures. These interactive sessions provide practical wisdom, career advice, and real-world perspectives through engaging discussions and audience participation.
Connect with experienced faculty in an intimate small-group setting designed to facilitate meaningful conversations and personalized career guidance.
Participants will register in advance according to their subspecialty interest and be matched with an expert mentor. Each mentor will meet with 4–5 participants for focused discussions on fellowship and career pathways, clinical practice, research opportunities, academic development, and leadership and professional growth.
Start the final day of APDW with energy, purpose, and camaraderie. The Run for GI Health is a fun, non-competitive community run promoting healthy lifestyles while raising awareness for colon cancer prevention and screening.
Open to participants of all fitness levels, the event offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with colleagues outside the conference halls while supporting an important public health advocacy.
The APAGE Emerging Leaders’ Symposium brings together internationally recognized leaders and rising voices in gastroenterology for an inspiring session on leadership, mentorship, research, and career development. Designed for trainees, fellows, and early-career gastroenterologists, the symposium explores how to build a meaningful career, develop as a clinician-scientist, and become a future leader in digestive health.
Stay tuned for more announcements and registration details. We look forward to welcoming you to the APDW Young GI Experience!
