Dr. Ronald V. Romero is a Filipino gastroenterologist and therapeutic endoscopist specializing in advanced digestive endoscopy and ERCP. He serves as President of the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy, Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at Perpetual Help Medical Center, and Head of the Endoscopy Units at De La Salle University Medical Center and Perpetual Help Medical Center. A faculty member of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, he combines clinical leadership, teaching, and research.

Dr. Romero completed fellowships in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at the University of Malaya Medical Center in Malaysia and Gastroenterology at Manila Doctors Hospital. He has authored and co-authored published studies, review articles, case reports, and clinical trials in gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopy. His career combines clinical practice, postgraduate education, research, and leadership in digestive endoscopy.
