Dr. Ruter Maralit (MD, FPCP, FPSG, FPSDE) is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist with over 12 years of specialist practice in advanced therapeutic endoscopy and hepatobiliary medicine. Extensive experience in ERCP (including complex hilar strictures), ERCP cholangioscopy, EUS-guided tissue acquisition and therapeutic interventions, advanced endoscopic hemostasis, capsule endoscopy, and biologic management of inflammatory bowel disease.

Practicing at high-volume tertiary academic referral centers with active involvement in multidisciplinary hepatobiliary and IBD case discussions. Former President of the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy (2024–2025), with established academic collaborations across ASEAN and East Asian gastroenterology networks.
