A/Prof. Frederick Dy is a gastroenterologist working at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital and St. Luke’s Medical Center in Manila, Philippines. He currently holds the position of assistant professor of the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Santo Tomas.

He was a Past President of the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology and was a Board member of both the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy and Hepatology Society of the Philippines. He also served as the Endoscopy unit head of the University of Santo Tomas Hospital. Presently, he holds the position of Chief of both the Section of Gastroenterology and Section of GI oncology, Benavides Cancer Institute of the University of Santo Tomas Hospital.

A/Prof. Dy is a member of special interest group around the region that includes Asian EUS group. He also serves as a local and regional key opinion leader. He is also active in research with publications in peer-reviewed journals. He also serves as reviewer of various prestigious journals.
