Dr. Engelbert Simon S. Perillo (MD, MSc) is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist practicing in Manila, Philippines. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas and a Master of Science in Global Health and Development from University College London. He completed his internal medicine residency at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, before going on to serve as Chief Fellow of the Adult Gastroenterology Fellowship and inaugural Hepatology Fellow at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital and Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center. He later completed an Interventional Hepatology Fellowship at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan.



Dr. Perillo is a Fellow of the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology, the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy, and the Philippine College of Physicians. He serves as Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Santo Tomas, Active Consultant at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, and Visiting Consultant at Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center, University of Santo Tomas Hospital, and the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center.
