Dr. Hasmik Ghazinyan

Dr. Hasmik L. Ghazinyan, MD, PhD, is a distinguished hepatologist and gastroenterologist from Armenia, serving as Head of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Service at Yerevan Medical Scientific Center and President of the Armenian Association for the Study of the Liver (ARASL). She is a member of leading international hepatology societies, including EASL, AASLD, APASL, and CEVHAP, and has served on the APASL Executive Council and as President of APASL Single Topic Conferences in 2015, 2022 (Yerevan), and 2024 (Almaty).

She is also a member of the APASL ACLF Research Consortium, Global NASH Council, EASL-ILF Country Survey team, and MAIDEN Consortium. Dr. Ghazinyan has served on the editorial boards of Hepatology International and the Journal of Clinical and Molecular Hepatology. With more than 160 scientific publications, she has made significant contributions to hepatology, viral hepatitis, ACLF, and metabolic liver disease.
