Dr. Nikko Theodore V. Raymundo is a gastroenterologist and Active Consultant at the Institute of Digestive and Liver Diseases, St. Luke's Medical Center Global City, and at Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Philippines. He earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at St. Luke's Medical Center Global City, and is currently a Clinical Epidemiology Fellow (MSc in Epidemiology) at the University of the Philippines Manila. He recently completed advanced clinical and endoscopic training at Showa Medical University Koto Toyosu Hospital, Japan (2025–2026).
Dr. Raymundo is a Fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians, the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology, and the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy, and serves on several of their committees, including Research and Research Education and Advocacy and Digital Communications. He is a prolific researcher with numerous publications in journals such as Gut, Gastroenterology, and Frontline Gastroenterology, covering topics including endoscopic mucosal resection, anti-reflux endoscopic therapy, and GI manifestations of COVID-19. His work has earned several honors, including a Wiley Top Cited Article Award (2020) and an Outstanding Presentation Award from the International Digestive Endoscopy Network (2022).
