Dr. Zaheer Nabi

Dr. Zaheer Nabi, MD, DNB, FASGE, FISG, FSGEI, is Director of Interventional Endoscopy at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad, India, with over 16 years of experience in Gastroenterology and Advanced Endoscopy. He is a recipient of the prestigious ASGE Endoscopic Training Award (2019) and has undergone advanced therapeutic endoscopy training at leading international centres, including Westmead Hospital, Sydney, Australia.

His clinical and research interests include esophageal motility disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease, third-space endoscopy (POEM, G-POEM, Z-POEM, and STER), and advanced endoscopic tissue resection techniques, including EMR and ESD.

Dr. Nabi has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and is a frequent invited speaker at national and international meetings. He is an active member of several professional societies and a Fellow of the ASGE, ISG, SGEI, ACG, ESGE, and WEO, contributing extensively to endoscopy education, research, and training.
