Prof. Benedict Devereaux

Professor Benedict Devereaux is a Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Australia, specializing in advanced endoscopy, ERCP, and EUS, with a particular interest in pancreatic cancer. He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and advanced gastroenterology training in Brisbane, followed by fellowships in ERCP and EUS at Indiana University Medical Center in the United States.

He is actively involved in clinical research, endoscopy education, and national and international teaching programmes, and serves on the board of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia. He is also the author of The Handbook of Clinical Pancreatology.
