Dr. Rino Alvani Gani, SpPD, K-GEH, FINASIM, is a Professor and Senior Lecturer in the Hepatobiliary Division, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, and Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital. He serves as an Advisor of the Indonesian Association for the Study of the Liver (Ina ASL) and a member of the Hepatitis Expert Committee of the Indonesian Ministry of Health. He is also a Board Director of the Asian Congress of Tumor Ablation and has served as a Temporary Advisor to the WHO on Hepatitis.

His leadership roles include Steering Committee Member of APASL, President of APASL Bali in 2020, and President of the Asian Congress of Tumor Ablation in 2024. His expertise and contributions have significantly advanced hepatology and hepatobiliary sciences in Indonesia and across Asia.
