Dr. Achmad Fauzi

Dr. Achmad Fauzi is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, Head of the Gastroenterology, Pancreatobiliary and Digestive Endoscopy Division at Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Head of Gastroenterology Hepatology Subspecialist, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. He serves as President of the Indonesian Society for Digestive Endoscopy (ISDE) (2023-Present) and Vice President of the Indonesian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) (2023-Present).

Dr. Fauzi completed his medical degree and training in internal medicine at Universitas Indonesia, followed by training in gastroenterology and hepatology. He earned his PhD from Universitas Indonesia in 2024. His endoscopy training includes programs in India, Japan, Thailand, and Singapore, focusing on Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy, Enteroscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), and Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM).

His clinical and research interests include acute pancreatitis, gastrointestinal endoscopy, and pancreatobiliary disorders. Dr. Fauzi has authored scientific publications and contributed to national consensus documents, supporting the development and standardization of digestive healthcare in Indonesia.
