Dr. Albert Ismael graduated from University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. He had his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital. He had further training in Advanced Endoscopy at the Prince of Wales Hospital, The Chinese University of Hong Kong under the guidance of Prof. Joseph Leung and Prof. Sydney Chung. He was the former Chief of Gastroenterology and Professor of Medicine in the University of Santo Tomas. Dr. Ismael was a Past President of both the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology and the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy.
