Dr. Marianne Linley Sy-Janairo

Dr. Linley Sy-Janairo is an active consultant and the Section Chief of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Unit at the Institute of Digestive and Liver Diseases, St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, Philippines.

She is a gastroenterologist with a special interest in IBD, with a focus on optimizing disease management, biologic therapies, and multidisciplinary care. She pursued advanced clinical training in IBD at Kobe University Hospital, Japan, and has participated in various national and international IBD education and training programs.

Dr. Sy-Janairo is actively involved in gastroenterology education, research, and fellowship training. She is the Training Officer of the Institute of Digestive and Liver Diseases at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City and an Associate Editor of the Philippine Journal of Gastroenterology. She also serves on various scientific and educational committees of national gastroenterology meetings and is actively involved in advancing IBD education and promoting comprehensive IBD care in the Philippines.
