Dr. Shanker Pasupathy

Dr. Shanker is the medical director of the Digestive Centre at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. He is a key opinion leader and invited speaker for gastro-esophageal reflux, hernia, weight loss and metabolic disease intervention. He has given numerous press, television and radio interviews and is actively involved in the training of nurses, GPs and specialist doctors both locally and in the region for various treatments including anti-obesity medications, LINX and anti-reflux surgery, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass and endoscopic gastroplasty.

Dr. Shanker received the Dean’s Award for teaching excellence from NUS Medicine in 2012.
