Prof. Chun-Jen LIU

Chun-Jen LIU is a Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, National Taiwan University College of Medicine, and Director of Clinical Trial Center, National Taiwan University Hospital. He achieved his MD and PhD at the National Taiwan University. Professor LIU’s research interests include chronic hepatitis B and C, MASLD and HCC, where his studies focus on dual liver diseases such as HBV and HCV, and MASLD and HBV. He had been awarded JGH Foundation Emerging Leader Lecture in APDW 2013. He had been President of the Taiwan Association for the Study of the Liver from 2022-2025, and is now the leader of the Taiwan Liver Diseases Clinical Trial Consortium. He is also the associate editor of the Journal of the Formosan Medical Association and Journal of Microbiology, Immunity and Infection. He has authored more than 440 papers in international, peer-reviewed journals including Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Gut and Journal of Hepatology.
